Announcement card for an early exhibition

at his short lived Galerie Kanalstrasse in his hometown of Fulda.
"1966 – an exhibition by Chris Reinecke and Jörg Immendorff that I organized at Galerie Kanalstrasse 70 at the beginning of the year / twenty-two year-old Jörg has painted his name in trembling yellow on the gold of a black-red-gold flag picture / Fruitman, Beuys sinking into a heap of apples / Beuys as a matchstick man in water / pieces of paper with writing on the floor / in her pictures Chris has overpainted cups, plates, spoons... / Verena reports that Erhard Imhof, Rudi Benz and other Kunstkreis members want nothing to do with the exhibition / nor do they want to do the obligatory attendance during opening hours / regard the works as "absolute crap" / Jörg is not sufficiently on top of things to laugh at the gallery members / as one would have expected /.
