Su Friedrich.
Handwritten + Signed Postcard invitation to Private Screening of Friedrich's Film "Sink or Swim" and an Invitation to the Premiere Party for Friedrich's Film "First Comes Love" with Original Mailed Envelope.

New York: Su Friedrich, 1990-1991.
Postcard, Sheet, and Envelope.
Unbound.

Very good.
Postcard has minor corner wear, handwritten note and address in pen along with postal stamps and markings. Sheet has two horizontal creases from mailing. Envelope is printed with an outdated address of Friedrich with an icon (perhaps of her design?), as well as a handwritten address and postal stamps and markings. Minor corner wear and unobtrusive tearing to back flap from opening.

Two scarce pieces of Su Friedrich ephemera.
Both mailed to Berenice Reynaud, noted film critic and programmer.
The postcard is signed.

A 1990 handwritten and signed postcard invitation to a private showing of Su Friedrich's Sink or Swim at the Millennium Film Workshop on June 7th.

A 1991 8.5" x 11" invitation "... to a party for Su Friedrich* after the premiere of First Comes Love at the Gay + Lesbian Experimental Film Festival" on September 13th at Anthology Film Archives at the apartment of former ABC No Rio co-director, artist and filmmaker Carl George.

"He's on the 2nd floor. Yell up or call from the corner.
And bring a six pack? Or a few bottles? Thanks!!
* Also for Carl George, Jennifer Montgomery, + Jack Waters".
