"The Gallery opening at 70 Kanalstrasse with a service commemorating Karlfried Staubach. Spotted in the photograph: Erhard Imhof (glasses) and Johanna Walther (seated on the right), Fulda 1965. The Gallery at 70 Kanalstrasse represented an attempt to continue the exhibition activity engaged in by the Galerie Junge Kunst, which had been disbanded the year before. Exhibitions mounted at 70 Kanalstrasse included solo shows of work by Jörg Immendorff and Reiner Ruthenbeck and, in 1966, a group show of works by Arman, George Brecht, Lucio Fontana, Yves Klein, Roy Lichtenstein, Piero Manzoni, Claes Oldenburg, Andy Warhol and Franz Erhard Walther."
