An extremely scarce flyer for a post Paradise Garage Larry Levan party at an unnamed club on 10th ave and 13th st in the summer of 1990. This unnamed club is definitively Mars which was located at the intersection. The iconic "The Sound of Garage" burly gay man logo is present.
Lawrence Philpot, known as Larry Levan, was an American DJ best known for his decade-long residency at the New York City night club Paradise Garage, which has been described as the prototype of the modern dance club. He developed a cult following who referred to his sets as "Saturday Mass". Levan died in 1992.
