Scarce newsletter published by Asociacion Uruguaya de Artistas Correo in October 1986. The Uruguayan Association of Mail Artists was a collective of mail artists in the 1980s. The first issue stated that it was edited by Clemente Padín, however this one does not.

Articles include
Postal Action against the International Monetary Fund,
A declaration of solidarity from The Uruguayan Association of Mail Artists regarding the political situation in Chile in 1986 condemning murders by Pinochet and calling for the restoration of democracy. It contains an international list of artists supporting the cause.
A proposal outlining a worldwide federation of mail artists united against fascism.
Political declarations.

Illustrations by A. de Arajo, etc.

A Uruguayan artist, poet, and publisher, Padin edited the influential literary magazines Los Huevos del Plata and OVUM 10 which put him in contact with the international avant garde. A participant in mail art, his artistic and political endeavors landed him in jail in the late '70s and surveilled upon release til the mid '80s, deemed a threat by Uruguay's military dictatorship.
