A tribute to George Maciunas, founder of Fluxus, from Japanese composer artist Mieko Shiomi, a founding member of Group Ongaku and an important participant in Fluxus.
La Monte Young, Marian Zazeela, Willem de Ridder, Ken Friedman, and Eric Andersen contributed to the performance of this music.
Side A - Ubi Fluxus
This music is composed using notes which correspond to letter in his name, 'George Maciunas.' That is, C, Cis, Es, E, Eis, Ges, G, As, Ais and Ces.
Also, sounds recorded at the Fluxus pavillion in Venice on the opening day of the Sub-Atomic Fluxus Festival are intermittently overlapped into the music, as if blasts of wind are carrying them through the music to Heaven.
Side B - ibi Motus
This part is the complete reverse of Side A.
